Many people want things to be different for themselves; they attend development workshops, read books or make resolutions, yet nothing really changes in their life. In careers or sport, people can ‘plateau’ and really struggle to find a way to improve their performance and results.
There are many reasons why this happens:
Many people resist asking for help in their lives, we feel we ought to be able to do it ourselves. So, like many a DIY project, we can end up living with something we are always slightly dissatisfied with.
The biggest obstacle to change is that we unknowingly think about things in a way which keeps us stuck!
Finding someone who helps shift your thinking, supports without judgement and keeps you on track without pressure can make all the difference. It did for me and this is what I offer you.
In our sessions I will help guide you to be clearer about what you want and what steps to take towards this. Different approaches help bring a new perspective, allowing ideas and insights to come to you. I do not offer advice or counselling. I help create the opportunity and awareness for you to change yourself or to cope more easily with life situations.
These help you prioritise You for once, to identify your needs and what you can do to meet them.
Follow-up sessions enable feedback and progression and help maintain focus and activity.
You may like a follow-up to be a ‘Walk and Talk’. The steady pace of forward movement can help break through the areas you are stuck in. Awareness of life in the environment around you helps raise your internal awareness.
Nature can provide ‘signposts’ and part of my work is helping you become aware of how you are being supported and given the opportunity for ideas and insight throughout your day.
“I love the fact that I feel calm in your presence and that means you are my go-to person when I'm feeling totally overwhelmed. Thankyou!“

Progressive One-to-One Sessions

These are more structured but remain adaptable to suit the participants. Group sessions benefit from the sharing of ideas and observations and are usually focused on specific topics, such as:
A mix of focus can work well within the group as there are often similar issues being worked on.
Sessions generally run indoors and often progress to be outside for some of the time.
Sessions last for 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the group and are run as 4 sessions over 2 months with a maximum of 4 participants.
Having regular contact with a supportive group helps plans to become actions and change becomes easier.
Progressive Group Sessions
Block of 4, generally 2 weeks apart - £240
For some clients I offer Equine Therapy sessions.
These allow you to spend time with my ponies in such a way as to:
This helps you build resilience and adaptability, increasing your sense of security within the world.
Time with the ponies can also provide an opportunity to work through issues you are facing in life, with the pony as a metaphor for the issue. You do not necessarily need to share much detail with me and there is no need for you to share what you discover, unless you choose to.
If you do need to talk something through, but feel you cannot do this with another person, ponies can be all ears.
